Rolled Star Dies Make Awesome Floral ATC's by Betz
The Rolled Star Die Cut Set is not only fantastic for creating beautiful authentic German stars for the holidays but flowers for spring! Betz here and I am going to show you how to make three different flowers using the Rolled Star Dies! First, die cut out as many stars as you want:
For the first flower, roll each edge of the section of a star back:
Until you have something that looks like this:
Repeat on another piece:
Layer the pieces:
Add a center:
For flower two, curl each section of a star twice in towards each other:
Pinch the tip of the rolled section:
Until you get this:
Repeat on another piece:
Layer the pieces, punch a one-inch circle in another color and top it off with a center:
For the third flower simply follow the instructions on the back of the packaging like you were going to make a star. Assemble two pieces and place a center in the flower:
I went ahead and turned these into ATCs!
This is a great project to use up those sheets or pieces of foiled paper you have in your stash! Don't get caught up in using the same color -- mix it up! It is fun to have multiple colors in a flower. It creates interest and gives your project personality!
