Tiny Foil Christmas packages

Tiny Foil Christmas packages | Rinea
Hi all Linda here.  This year is all about keeping things small and simple. My husband and I have made big changes in our lives. We don’t need gifts to make us happy. Being together and with our family makes us happy.

For this Christmas I decided that I would make small Christmas decorations. My mother gave me a small milk glass sleigh that was her mother's. I decided that it should be filled with tiny gifts. These gifts would remind me of the many blessings that I have in my life.

When looking around my home I realized that I didn’t have any tiny boxes to decorate. Crazy I know, that among all the craft supplies I didn’t have tiny boxes. Well I decided that I would make my own.

Cutting pieces of cardboard down to one and half inch squares I glued three pieces together and then covered with Rinea Foil. Some of the “boxes” were covered with Rinea Foil paper that I embossed with a snowflake embossing folder. Other boxes were covered with paper from Canvas Corp Brands then sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists.

Once all of the boxes were covered with desired paper it was time to add embellishments. A paper punch from Punch Bunch in the shape of a Holy Leaf was used. Punching several of the leaves out of the green Rinea embossed foil I set those aside.

Various colors of ribbon were used to wrap the gifts. Tied tiny bows and glued with hot glue to hold them in place. Once the ribbon bow was in place a tiny amount of glue was placed on the holy leaf and then small red rhinestones were put in place.

There is a video showing the whole process.
