Believe Butterfly Card by Lorrie
Hi crafty friends! Lorrie here today with a card with a message that we all need to hear sometimes!
This card uses a metal die so it's very easy to make, but the Rinea Foiled Paper makes it look amazing!
Here's what you need to make it:
- Rinea Foiled Paper: Glossy Fuchsia/Gold
- Rinea Foiled Paper: Glossy Marigold/Gold
- Rinea Foiled Paper: Glossy Violet/Gold
- white cardstock card base
- Pink and Main butterfly cover die set
- foam dots
- tape runner
- Queen & Co. metallic nailhead embellishments
- manual die cutting machine
- inspirational sticker
To make:
-
Die cut the card cover using the butterfly cover die and the Glossy Marigold/Gold Foiled Paper. Die cut 3 individual butterflies using the single butterfly die and the Glossy Fuchsia/Gold and Glossy Violet/Gold Foiled Paper. Remove the large rectangular section of the card cover and flip over to show the gold side
-
Attach card cover to the card base using a tape runner. Don't put adhesive on the back of the wings as we want to be able to lift those.
-
Attach the 3 individual butterflies on top of 3 random butterflies with foam dots.
- Bend the wings on each butterfly so that they are lifted upwards.
- Place the nailhead embellishments onto the fuchsia and violet butterflies.
- Attach the inspirational sticker to the top of the large rectangle using foam dots.
I love the way that the Rinea Foiled Paper gives the card this kind of dimension that you just can't get with regular paper!
I hope this card inspires you to make something crafty today!
