Easy To Make Bookmarks and Clips For Planners
by Martha Lucia
Hi there, Martha Lucia here with you!
Today I will show you how to organize your papers with Rinea Foiled Paper. I decided to make three different and easy designs that will help you with your books and papers.
Let me start with the most simple design. You only need a Binder Clip in any size and Rinea Foiled Paper in your favorite colors. To make mine, I used Blush/Gold Glossy Rinea Foiled Paper. I measured the binder clip to determinate the size of the foiled paper and pasted over the binder clip some strips of double-sided tape. Then, I cut the exact size of the foiled paper, in a rectangular form, and covered the entire surface of the binder clip. If you want you can add a different design, just embossing the foiled paper.
My next clip is with a wood clothes pin that I decorated with a big flower and I can use as book mark or to secure a little amount of papers.
Using a die cut flower design, I cut all all the flower layers on Ruby/Gold Glossy Rinea Foiled Paper. Then I curved the borders of the layers with my bone folder and pasted them with double sided foam tape. To paste the finalized flower over the clothes pin I just used double sided tape. The flower die has been retired. A great replacement option is Sizzix Thinlits die set 15pk Flower set.
For my last bookmark I used a big paper clip with some of the colors included on the Woodlands Foiled Variety Pack. It comes on glossy and starstruck textured and I decided to have the starstruck layer for the top of my big butterfly.
I cut the different layers using a butterfly layer design and pasted all the pieces only on the center with glue dots. To finalize the bookmark I also cut a solid layer to cover the back of the first layer and pasted them with double sided tape. The butterfly die is called Sparkler-Butterfly Layer Set by Birch Press Design.
I hope these easy and simple projects inspire you organize your books and papers and at the same time enjoy your creative tools. See you soon!
