Hi! My name is Jess, and I’m from Saskatchewan, Canada!
Mom, wife, crafter, Zumba girl, wine lover, foodie .......... yep, a good mix!
I am a craft enthusiast! I was introduced to rubber stamping almost 12 years ago and haven’t turned back since. I love creating cards, scrapbook pages, home decor, 3D paper items, canvases and more. I'm just starting to dabble in sewing and want to learn how to quilt, knit & crochet too! Yes, I LOVE being CRAFTY! I love to find new craft companies and (well, I hate to admit it) am a bit of a supply hoarder! I'm learning to use it up, not store it so I can make room for new products. I love to try new products and am always excited when the happy mail comes – who isn’t? I'm currently learning how to use and manipulate digital images as well as new coloring mediums such as watercolor, paint, alcohol markers and pencil crayons. I’m a lifelong learner – and I sure love to create. I’m a mom of 2 creative daughters who insist they are going to be artists when they grow up. I work part-time at a local fabric store, so I’m always looking to expand my craftiness.
Cool, right? Now how did I create this sweet little tree? Actually, quite easily! I used a petal punch! Yes - all the tree branches are petals! Using the GREEN foiled paper, I punched out a whole ton of leaves! Then, working from the bottom of my cone, I started layering them on. I used some double-sided tape for my adhesive. I started with the larger petals and finished with some smaller, narrower ones. I love how flexible the foil is, but yet it holds its shape! Very cool.
I hope you love this little project - I had a lot of fun playing with this exciting product. I have a few more projects to share with you throughout the month, so stay tuned!
