Create Amazing Rose Cards Using Rinea Foiled Papers and Sizzix Thinlits
by Roni Johnson
Making amazing cards is easy when you use Rinea Foiled Papers paired with Sizzix Thinlits dies. Today I wanted to share a few cards using a single set of dies to create these lovely roses. The die set is called Layered Roses (664496) by Lisa Jones.
Directions:
Step 1 - Die-cut all of the pieces in the set using desired colors of Rinea foiled papers. (Fuchsia/Glossy Gold & Fuchsia/Fuchsia Starstruck used for this example.) I like to make my flowers 2 color so I cut 2 complete flowers at one time to save time.
Step 2 - Lay out all of the parts and pieces together with their mates layer by layer. This step is optional but I find it helps the assembly process go quicker when I don't have to hunt and search for my next part.
Step 3 - Glue each of the smaller parts to the appropriate layer. This flower has 4 layers with 3-4 smaller parts per layer.
Step 4 - Once each layer has been assembled and dried, glue all of the layers together to form one complete rose.
You now have an amazing layered rose to use on cards, scrapbooks, tags, etc. They are lovely as is or your can add the buds and leaves to compliment the whole look. Below are some examples of the flowers made using this lovely die set.
