Die Cut with Foiled Paper by Martha Lucia
Hi there! Martha Lucia here to highlight how this fantastic Rinea Foiled Paper brings the elegance to your cards or any crafts.
The base of this card is Whisper White cardstock in regular size, 4-1/4'x11" with a score in 5-1/2".
The second layer is Blush/Gold Glossy Rinea Foiled Paper. I cut this layer using the Fiore Plate B die cut and pasted directly over the card base to have the negative parts of the die cut filled with the white color of the cardstock.
To make it more special, I added a few drops of White Nuvo Crystal Drops in some details of the card.
Also, I cut the word Thanks from a Law Fawn die cut using the Ebony/Ebony Starstruck Rinea Foiled Paper. I cut the same word in black foam to paste behind of the die cut and made it more relevant.
As a final touch, I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set Mother's Day Love by Joy Clair Stamps on whisper white cardstock and matted with basic black cardstock. I pasted the sentiment over the die cut word.
The photos don't make justice to this fabulous combination of paper foil. The shiny look of the glossy Rinea Paper Foil and the difference with the shine of the starstruck texture.
Rinea Paper Foil is the only paper that has two thin layers of color aluminum foil with a sheet of paper sandwiched between them. This gives the material a paper-like sturdiness with the malleability of foil. It keeps the shape it is given which makes it ideal for creating 3-dimensional objects or elegant cards. Having paper-like quality also makes it great for embossing or die-cutting designs.
See you soon!
