Create A Dramatic Card by Susie Bentz

Hello! Earlier this month I shared an ethereal collage style card with an inspiring message using the Lavender Deco stamp from Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps. Today I am going to use the same stamp as a focal image - changing up the sentiment, colors and style - to create a very different and dramatic card.

I stamped the Lavender Deco image on watercolor paper, trimmed out parts of the design with a craft knife, and backed it with Ruby/Gold Glossy foiled paper with the red side up.
.

I took another piece of the Ruby/Gold Glossy foiled paper and ran it through an embossing folder and matted it on black cardstock with the gold side up.
.

I went back to the Lavender Deco stamped image and added gold stickles...

...and used a pen to alter the stamped image by drawing in eyes before adhering it to the front of the card.

I divided the Devil Whispers stamp so that half of it appears on the front of the card and the rest appears on the inside.
.

I absolutely love this sentiment! When someone is going through a tough time, a card like this reminds them that they are strong and can handle whatever comes their way.
