Fun Fold Card by Jenn
Hello everyone! Jenn here sharing a fun-fold Valentine's Day card today! This is a very simple card with a beautiful result. I have combined Rinea Foiled paper, cardstock,Designer paper scraps, and nesting heart dies to create it.
Blush/Blush Starstruck Foiled paper
Additional supplies:
Scortape
Black cardstock
Scoring tool and board
Liquid adhesive
Designer paper (scraps from my stash)
Metal nesting dies - Hearts
Metal die - Love
Black lightweight chipboard (for front heart)
Cut a piece of black cardstock to 6 1/4"X12 and score it at 3" and 7". This will be the base. Cut another piece of black cardstock to 3"X6 1/4". This will be die cut in the next step.
For the base: Fold the 3" scored portion back and the then fold the 7" score line forward.
Cut a piece of designer patterned paper to 3 7/8"X6 1/8"
Adhere to the front under the 3" folded flap.
Next, cut a strip of patterned paper at desired width and 6 1/8" tall and a solid piece to 4"X6 1/8" (I used ivory). Adhere to the inside.
Next cut the hearts shown below as well as the panel cut above.
For my card, I used 4 sizes of the heart die set and cut the following:
Black cardstock panel 3"X6 1/4" - Cut several smaller hearts using the dies. The largest black heart is cut from lightweight black chipboard. The large Blush Starstruck heart is adhered to this.
Cut a piece of Blush Starstruck to fit under the panel and adhere.
Be sure to line the panel to the flap evenly and straight all the way around.
Adhere the hearts together as shown. And cut a sentiment word such as Love as I used from the Blush Starstruck to place on top.
I love the way this card turned out! I hope you are inspired to create one too!
Thanks so much for viewing my post today!
Hava an amazing crafty day!
