Hello Winter Card With Joy Clair Stamps by Steph Ackerman

Hello Winter Card With Joy Clair Stamps by Steph Ackerman | Rinea
Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with a die cut and embossed winter card.

When you think of winter, snowmen come to mind and Joy Clair's Snowy Greetings stamp set has everything you need to create winter projects.  This stamp set has 10 images and 6 phrases, so there are opportunities for lots of different projects to create.
I began by die cutting Silver/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and Cobalt/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper using Spellbinders dies. These pieces are extremely delicate and look amazing when die cut from foiled papers.
I also cut Silver/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper to fit my card, then embossed it with a snowflake embossing folder.  I assembled the 2 die cut pieces and placed them on the sides of the embossed panel.
The snowman family from Joy Clair's Snowy Greetings stamp set, was stamped on Silver/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper, die cut and matted with a scalloped circle die cut from Cobalt/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper.
The snowmen were colored with Ranger Liquid Pearls and Nuvo Crystal Drops.  I even ran a bead under the snowmen to simulate snow.  As they dried, the colors became translucent.
Once dry, the image was added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.  Hello Winter, from the same stamp set, was stamped on a scrap of Silver/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper, then die cut and added to the card.
Finally, tiny pearls were added to some of the blue swirls on the die cut panels.
Thanks for stopping by.
Steph
