How To Make A Floral Heart Shaped Card And Box by Monika Graefling-Gladysiak
Hello everyone! I hope you have a wonderful day. It's Monika today creating a Floral Heart Shaped Card and Box using alcohol inks and Rinea foiled papers.
We are going to use Rinea foiled papers: Arctic Starstruck, heart cutting dies (I used '6x6'' Medium Heart Box' by Card Making Magic, but you can use any heart dies you have in your stash), alcohol inks (I used: LG4, CT2, GY3, BP4 from Spectrum Noir, but you can use whatever alcohol inks you have), 91% alcohol, air blower, white card, liquid glue, score board, gold gems, scissors, Distress Oxide Inks (I used: 'Mustard Seed', 'Carved Pumpkin', 'Picked Raspberry') and ink blending tool.

Step 1
Use alcohol inks and add the colors on the Arctic Starstruck, use an air blower and spritzer with 91% alcohol and mix and blend the colors together.
Die cut all the elements.
Step 2
Let's create a box
Die cut the biggest heart 3 times from white card and the sides 4 times. When assembling the box together put two hearts at the bottom for extra strength.
Then, use inks of your choice and ink blending tool to add color on the sides on the bottom of the box.
You can use a circle punch on the sides for easier opening the box.
Step 3
Use all your die cut elements and liquid glue to adhere them on the box, you can also add gold gems in the middle of the flowers.
I love how easy it is to shape flowers with Rinea paper and they hold the shape!
Don't forget to decorate the sides with the lacy die cuts.
Step 4
Let's make a matching card
Use the smaller heart cutting die and die cut it twice from white card, also die cut the decorative element once.
Step 5
Use score board and create a flat on the back panel and adhere the front heart, that will be your card base, then use all your colored Arctic Starstruck with alcohol inks and start decorating your card.
Step 6
Your perfect St. Valentine's Gift is ready, you can write your message inside the card and add few sweets inside the box :)
