How To Make A Flower Candle Holder By Monika Graefling-Gladysiak
Hello everyone! I hope you have a wonderful day. It's Monika today showing you how to make a flower candle holder using Rinea foiled papers.
We are going to use Rinea Foiled Paper: Gold, Lavender Starstruck, Jade Starstruck, Sapphire Starstruck, Cobalt Starstruck, Midnight, quilling cutting dies by Crafter's Companion: Die'sire-Classiques 'Traditional Stamen', 'Aster Duo', 'Peony Duo', 'Sunflower Duo' (if you don't have quilling cutting dies, you can fussy cut the petals), small glass jar, twine or string, glue gun, double sided tape, a quilling tool and scissors.
Step 1:
Use Gold, Lavender Starstruck, Sapphire Starstruck, Cobalt Starstruck, Midnight to die cut the petals an stamens.
Step 2:
Use a red liner tape and adhere two stamens together, off set them; do the same with the petals, this technique will make your flowers more dimentional.
Step 3:
Use a quilling tool, put the gold stamen in the slot and start rolling, when the stamen finishes, add a little bit of red liner tape to secure the stamen, then add red liner tape on top and add the petals of your choice, start rolling again, at the end, adhere red liner tape to secure the petals. Remove the flower from the quilling tool gently, use your fingers to shape the petals.
Step 4:
Use scissors and fussy cut the leaves using Jade Starstruck.
Step 5:
Use a glue gun and adhere the string to the bottom and top of the jar.
Step 6:
Use glue gun to adhere the flowers to the jar.
Step 7:
Put a tea light inside your flower jar and admire your beautiful creation :)
