How To Make A Heart Full Of Flowers by Monika Graefling-Gladysiak | Rinea

Hello everyone! I hope you have a wonderful day. It's Monika today creating a Heart Full of Flowers Home Decor using Floral Variety Pack and Lavender/Lavender Starstruck foiled paper.

We are going to use Rinea Foiled Paper: Floral Variety Pack, LavenderLavender Starstruck foiled papers, cardboard, quilling tool, cutting dies by Crafter's Companion - 'Traditional Stamen', Aster Duo', 'Sunflower Duo', 'Peony Duo', heart cutting die, a pencil, string, 3 mm double sided tape, liquid glue, 3D glue or hot glue, acrylic paint: white, brown, bronze, gold, a sponge, a paintbrush and scissors.

Step 1:
Use the heart cutting die and trace it on the cardboard, use scissors to fussy cut it. Do it three times, it will create a base for the project. And adhere the hearts together using liquid glue. Also, cut two stripes of cardboard 3 cm high.

Step 2:

Use the white and brown acrylic paint for the two stripes, then use the bronze or copper metallic paint and apply it with a sponge. Then, cut small 'wooden parts' and use the gold metallic paint and apply it on the sides.

Step 3:

Use liquid glue to adhere 'the wooden pieces' on the sides of the heart. Then use a thread and wrap it around the pieces three times and tie a know.

Step 4:

Use Marigold foiled paper to die cut the stamens 22 times (two for each flower), then use the Violet / Violet Starstruck / Fuchsia / Fuchsia Starstruck / Lavender / Lavender Starstruck to die cut the flowers using the quilling dies. You will need two sets of the same petals for each flower.

Step 5:

Take 2 stamens and use 3 mm red liner tape and off set them, do the same with the petals. Then, use a quilling tool, put the stamen first and start rolling, then add a little bit of the red liner tape and add the petals, roll again, at the end adhere the red liner tape to make sure the flower is secure. Then, take it off the quilling tool. You can shape the petals now using your fingers.

Step 6:

Use 3D gel glue or hot glue to adhere the flowers inside the heart basket you created.

Step 7:

Admire your beautiful creation :)

It's a perfect home decor piece and Mother's Day gift.

Happy crafting!
