How To Make a Purple Tulips Shaker Card by Monika Graefling-Gladysiak
Hello everyone! I hope you have a wonderful day. It's Monika today creating a Purple Tulips Shaker Card with the It's Cheaper Than Therapy Collaboration.
We are going to use Rinea foiled papers: Lavender, Turquoise, Turquoise Starstruck , Blush, Fuchsia, Violet Starstruck, cutting dies 'Petite Petals by Sizzix' from It's Cheaper Than Therapy, square and circle cutting dies, card base 6x6 inches, double sided foam adhesive, red liner tape, sentiment stamp, StazOn ink, acetate, sequins from your stash, Distress Oxides, ink blending tools, little gold gems and a pokey tool.
Step 1:
Create a background using Violet Starstruck 14.5x14.5 cm and Lavender 12.5x12.5 cm, adhere them on the card base.
Step 2:
Create a square from white card measuring 13.5x13.5 cm and die cut a square in the middle 9.5cmx9.5 cm, use Distress Oxides ink to add the colours onto frame, adhere acetate on the back using red liner tape; die cut a circle from white card, use Distress Oxides to apply the colour, stamp a sentiment using StazOn ink and adhere the circle in the middle of the acetate.
On the back of the frame adhere double sided foam adhesive and put sequins on the background.
Step 3:
Use Violet Starstruck, Fuchsia, Blush and Lavender to die cut all the flowers from 'Petite Petals by Sizzix' from It's Cheaper Than Therapy and leaves from Turquoise, Turquoise Starstruck.
Step 4:
Create flowers using two layers, you can use red liner tape to attach the elements together and put small gold gem inside the flowers. Use a pokey tool to shape the flowers.
Step 5:
Adhere the leaves and tulip onto the circle die cut and the rest of the flowers on the corners of your card. Your card is ready :)
Step 6:
Admire your creation and give it to someone special :)
Happy crafting!
