Leave a Little Sparkle by Roni
It's important to strut your stuff every once in a while just so they don't forget how you should be treated and this card helps deliver a friendly little reminder to leave a little sparkle wherever you go!
This month Rinea has joined forces with Crackerbox n Suzy Stamps to bring you some amazing creations. I fell in love with these stamps from the moment I saw them. I knew that I could rock it out when I paired the Marilyn Monroe stamp, Leave a Little Sparkle and Rinea's Peacock Variety Pack.
I started off by running a 4 x 5.25" piece of the foil (gold side up) through my Xyron to cover the entire panel with adhesive. I then cut several border strips from each piece of the foiled paper included in the variety pack. The strips were adhered to the panel starting from the bottom working towards the top, each strip slightly over lapping the previous.
Once the panel was covered with the border strips, the excess was trimmed off. I then sprinkled crystal clear glitter over the whole thing. The glitter will stick to any exposed adhesive that was covered with the border strips. The finished panel was affixed to a black card base.
I stamped both the sophisticated lady and the sparkle sentiment on white cardstock. Both were cut from the white cardstock and matted with the Sapphire/Sapphire Starstruck Foiled Paper and added to the card.
The combination of gold, border cuts and clear glitter really make this card pop. It also gives the card the same attitude as the lady for a wickedly fun card.
