Make a Floral Foiled Lei with Roni

Make a Floral Foiled Lei with Roni | Rinea
Today we're going to the islands and you don't even have to pack a bag! We're going to create a fun flower lei using Rinea's newest variety pack - Floral Foiled Paper Variety Pack. Let's go...
Rinea Inspires - Floral Flower Lei with Roni Johnson
This is a very versatile design as you can substitute any flower shape and colors of foiled paper that suit your needs. You can also choose from any number of lei styles as well, some people prefer a bib necklace type lei with just a short 6-8" section of flower or a half lei with flowers in the front and a twine tie around the back of the neck (this style is perfect to wear in your hair as well) or you might choose to add flowers to the entire length of twine. The possibilities are endless.

Step 1 - Hand or die-cut 3 different style flowers, one from each of the colors of foiled paper in the Floral Variety Pack.
Step 2 Hand or die-cut leaves for each of the flowers from Emerald or Jade Foiled Papers.

Step 5 - Thread a 36" length of twine onto a tapestry needle. (It's better to have extra than not enough.)

Step 6 - Thread a flower and leaf onto the needle. Next add one of the straw spacer pieces then add the next flower and leaf. Continue to alternate flower/leaves and spacers until you reach the desired length.
