Make a Star Themed Shaker Card with Rinea Foiled Paper

Hello!  Susie here today with a fun shaker card with a star theme!  

I created it using the Make A Wish Framelits Die and Stamp set from Sizzix.

I started with a 4"x 5.25" piece of Ruby Starstruck Foiled Paper in which I die cut a star shaped hole in the upper half.  I adhered it to a cardstock base.  Inside the hole I added a star which I had die cut from Silver Starstruck Foiled Paper.  

I cut another of the star frames from the Silver Starstruck Foiled Paper and adhered it to clear craft plastic.  Using scissors, I trimmed along the outside edge of the star.  Underneath I added 4 more of the star frames which I had cut from cardstock, giving the whole assembly the depth needed for a shaker card.  

I die cut tiny stars from Ruby/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper, Ruby Starstruck Foiled Paper and Silver/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper from the Jolly Foiled Paper Variety Pack.  I put them in place and they glued the star frame assembly on top.

I die cut and embossed a star strip from Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and added it as an accent in the bottom right of the card.

The final piece was the word "shine" which I die cut from Silver Glossy Foiled Paper.
