Masquerade Mask Shadow Box

Posted on August 18 2017

Hello, Betz here today! I am slightly obsessed with Masquerade Masks and Mardi Gras that I wanted to create something featuring both for display in my craft room. I stumbled upon a shadow box and knew it would be perfect for my Mardi Gras  Masquerade Shadow Box featuring a beautiful mask.

Masquerade Mask Shadow Box with Rinea Foiled Paper

I first assembled the shadow box by painting it, covering it with paper and adding little mini albums as well as a mock invitation.

Once I had the box assembled came the fun and most important part -- embellishing and making the mask. Petaloo had the perfect flowers to go with my box! They even came with beautiful centers that I was able to custom match my project.

Here is a video tutorial on how I made the mask:

I kept the mask template and plan to use it again in the near future!

Wow! This is a lovely shadow box! Gorgeous color and choice of papers. That foiling is so perfect! I need to gain some courage enough to try my hand at one. I love Graphic 45 papers so much because there is quite alot you can do with them. Happy crafting!
