Mixed Media Gel Print Graduation Card
I have a large stash of gel prints I like to incorporate into my mixed media cards. It is graduation season and I came up with a unique card that really shines because of the elements I die cut from Rinea Foiled Paper.
I used black Archival Ink to stamp an image onto one of my gel prints before die cutting it with a postage stamp die. I tore it apart along the perforations and cut some of them into even small postage stamps before starting to play around with a design on a black cardstock base.
The Frosted Variety Pack had all the right colors to coordinate with my gel print. I selected 3 foiled papers (Glossy Sapphire/Gold, Starstruck Sapphire, Starstruck Turquoise) and die cut stars...
...that were then added to the collage growing on my card front.
Each postage stamp provided an opportunity for another element die cut from foiled paper, like the Glossy Gold arrow, or the Glossy Turquoise eyeglasses, or another tiny star!
When I made this particular gel print I had used some metallic copper paint. To pull that color out, I die cut a gear from Glossy Copper Foiled paper...
...and added it as the finishing touch!
