Pocket Life Cards With Rinea Foiled Paper

Pocket Life Cards With Rinea Foiled Paper | Rinea

Hey There Foilers! It's Clair here and today, I wanted to share some 'Pocket Life' cards, with Rinea Foiled Paper. I've been coveting some of the Foiled Pocket Life cards that I've seen included in some kit club selections, but decided to make my own with my Rinea stash.

I've mainly used some of my favorite die-cut letters (and, I there really was a day that I felt 'MEH' was an appropriate memory) but I also wanted to make use of some die-cut circles and my favorite stamps!

Pocket Life Cards using Rinea Foiled Paper

Here's a little 'How To' ...

1. Lay out a selection of die-cut circle sizes on a blank Pocket Life card, until satisfied with the look.

2. Stick circles to the card, then trim off the remainder of the Rinea Foiled Paper.

3. You can use the trimmed sections to add more detail.

4. Add a stamped sentiment to the center of the Pocket Life Card. (I like to use Staz On but, because it's a slower drying ink, it can mean that the stamp 'shifts' a little while in use - and this causes the stamped image to look a little fuzzy. To avoid this, stamp directly down onto the Rinea Foiled Paper, instead of rolling the stamp!)

I've used the Sapphire/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper on my cards, initially thinking that the blue would work well with my cardstock, but in the end, I decided that I liked the one tone look more on such a busy cardstock. But, I am really looking forward to trying this technique with some of the other colors in my stash - and most definitely with some of the new colors (Mocha/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and Ebony/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper especially) as soon as I have them in my hands!

Which of the new colors have you swooning?
