Scallop Edge Card by Melinda
Hello, crafty friends!
Melinda here with you today and I am sharing a pretty card I recently made.
I started by creating an SVG cut file for the card. I then used white cardstock for the base. I added a mat of black cardstock for the inside panel.
I used the Lavender/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and the Turquoise/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper to create the flowers. I used the Jade Starstruck Foiled Paper for the leaves. I cut all the pieces out of my Cricut. I layered them and then curled the petals to give them a little dimension. I added a flat back pearl embellishment to the centers.
I created the sentiment and printed it out of my printer on some Silver Glossy Foiled Paper. I used a laser printer to do this and the foiled paper fed through with no trouble. This picture also shows the beautiful embossing on the top silver foiled mat. I used an embossing folder from my stash. Under that mat is another mat of the beautiful Turquoise foiled paper.
Here's a closer look at the bow I created to finish off the card.
Here is one last look at my finished card. All of the Foiled Papers I used came in the new Misfits Variety Pack. These packs are a perfect choice for getting a nice variety of foiled papers.
