Scrapbook Layout by Guest Designer Genevieve Langlais

Posted on November 08 2017

We would like to introduce you to our November Guest Designer, Genevieve Langlais!
Genevieve Langlais

Hi, My name is Genevieve Langlais or zuta on scrapbook forums. I have 35 years old. I live in Quebec, Canada. I have two little princesses, a ''special'' of 9 years and a ''tornado'' of 5 years. I am married to a wonderful man since 11 years. My native language is French.

I discovered scrapbooking in 2008 during my maternity leave, and after eight years, it's always a passion. I've always done a lot of crafts; mosaic, sewing, crochet ... and for my job, I am a museum technician. I need more creativity!

I make pages, but I can also make art journals, altered objects, tags, and cards. I love the bright color and the shine in my creation and the pages with a lot of pictures or big picture. I want that my page tells the story of this moment and leave beautiful memories to my daughters.

Now onto Genevieve's first Guest Design Team project.....
Hi everyone! It’s a great pleasure to work with this amazing product: the paper foil. I love the color and the texture.
Today, I show you a layout with a lot of fall leaves. For this page, I used copper, gold and silver foil paper of Metallic's Foiled Paper Variety Pack by Rinea. They have a wide variety of colors available, and they come in a package of 12 sheets that measure approximately 6" x 12", 4" x 6" packs and rolls for bigger projects.

I used many dies to cut different shapes of leaves.
I stuck them in a circle with other kinds of leaves. I put some gold ornaments and natural chipboards.

I hope you enjoyed my layout and make sure to visit my blog, Instagram, and YouTube for more great inspiration.
