Special Gift Bag with paper foil
Hello, everyone, Martha Lucia is here to share with you a gift box that I decorated with one of my favorite colors of Rinea Foil paper, Emerald/Gold Glossy. I love to alter packages and have them ready to use whenever I need them.
To make this I used a pre-made pillow box and created a big belt with the Emerald/Gold Glossy Foil Paper. I measured the box, duplicated the size and added one inch to have the long paper foil. I also measured the width of the box to determine the width of the belt. I also considered the width of the embossing folder that I wanted to use to create the design over the foil.
With sand paper, I created a little distress over the rise-up design, and then I added double sided tear tape to paste the belt over the pillow box.
Then I cut and embossed a label to decorate the front of the gift box. For this, I embossed a piece of Copper/Copper Glossy Foil and a piece of brown card stock.
I fussy cut the both pieces with my scissors and pasted the card stock piece behind of the paper foil piece to obtain a hard piece and prepare my final decoration.
With a crop-a-dile, I opened a hole to pass four or five loops of natural baker's twine through it so that I can tie the pillow box.
Then I finalized the decoration with some flowers from the Botanical Collection of Petaloo. These are beautiful velvet flowers that come with leaves and are very easy to arrange.
I hope this idea inspired you to create different things using Rinea Foiled Paper. This material is great to work with and always gives you the form that you need.
