Bible Journaling And A Card
Hello everyone, Martha Lucia here to share with you two projects that I made combining Joy Clair Stamps with Rinea Paper Foil, a unique combination that I really Love. As you know, Joy Clair Stamps has a line of stamps called Color by Faith. This line is normally used for bible journaling, and today I will show you how I made one page on my bible using paper foil and Be a Flamingo stamp set, and how I made a card using a combination of these products.
Let's start! I am impressed with all that we can do with the new Rinea Ghost Ink. So I decided to stamp the two flamingos included on the set Be a Flamingo using Rinea Ghost Ink over Rinea Violet/Gold Glossy Foiled paper and then fussy cut them with the scissors.
I prepared my bible page using classic ink in three different colors: Soft Suede, Marina Mist, and Tangerine Tango. I sponged the ink directly over the page and blended them to create a sunrise background. I stamped the sentiments using Versafine Onix and the leaves using Delicata Ink in two different tones, White Shimmer and Gold Rose.
Since the Delicata Ink is a pigment ink, you can use the heat tool to speed up the drying process but be careful not to burn the bible pages - they are very delicate.
To finalize the page, I just pasted the foiled flamingos over the pages and drew a purple border around them and a few white drops over the background.
My second project is a card using the Faith Quotes stamp set and three different colors of Rinea paper foil, the Silver/Silver Star Struck Foiled Paper, the Violet/Violet Star Struck Foiled Paper and the Emerald/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper.
To create this card, I used a 3D Dynamic Textured Impression Embossing Folder over the Silver, and Violet Star Struck foiled paper. With these foiled papers I created the first two layers to paste over the basic black card base. Then I stamped one of the sentiments included on the stamp set Faith Quotes from Joy Clair over Whisper White card stock with Versafine Onix and cut it with a double stitched scallop die cut.
I assemble the layers of card, and between the pieces of the sentiment I inserted two branches that I cut using Emerald/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper, but I made a twist on the branches using the Rinea Ghost Ink.
With a Fantaxtic Stick, I applied ink on the leaves and partially removed the green color. It gave a great finish to my project.
I hope these ideas inspired you to use the Color by Faith stamps and the Rinea Paper Foil in combination or alone in your different projects. You will love all that you can create with them and the endless ways that you can combine them.
See you soon!
