Thanksgiving Treat Boxes by Yolie Burke
Hello, this is Yolie with today's project share. It's time to craft for Thanksgiving. Today, I show you how I used Rinea's Autumn Foiled Paper Variety, Ghost Ink, and the Starburst Sentiments stamps to create treat boxes. Below is the list of supplies you'll need to recreate today's project, so let's get started.
Supplies:
- Rinea Autumn Foiled Paper Variety - 4" x 6" Artists's pack
- Rinea Ghost Ink
- Rinea Starburst Sentiments
- We R Memory Keepers Pillow Box Punch Board
- Circle Dies
- Manual die cutting machine
- 12" paper trimmer
- 12" x 12" scrapbook paper
- Tape runner
- Baby wipes
- Gold jewelry string
Using a manual die cutting machine, I cut the large circle out of the Starstruck Mocha foiled paper. I then die cut the small circles out of the Glossy Marigold Orange foiled paper. I then inked the "thanks" sentiment with the Rinea Ghost Ink. I allowed a couple of minutes for the Ghost Ink to dry before wiping it off with a baby wipe to reveal the sentiment.
Next, I trimmed the 12" x 12" paper to 6" x 8" and followed the instructions of the Pillow Box Punch Board to create the pillow boxes.
I then trimmed the Starstruck Ruby Red foiled paper to 2" x 6" and the wood grain paper to 3" x 6". Then adhered them to the assembled pillow boxes.
I wrapped the gold jewelry string and tied a bow on the side, and they are now ready to be filled with special treats.
These pillow boxes are easily customized for your Thanksgiving dinner guests. Add a small tag with your guest's name and use them for place settings.
I hope you enjoyed my project today.
Thank you for visiting and happy crafting.
