Vintage Faux Ormolu Altered Bottle by Roni
Hello Friends, Ink Stained Roni here. Today I wanted to share my faux ormolu altered glass bottle made using Gold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper. What is ormolu you might ask? It's a very old tradition of applying gilt brass work to an object. I envisioned the antique perfume bottles encased in a golden cage of filigree.
The bottle was coated with a layer of Blue Hawaii StazOn Studio Glaze which created a sea glass like finish.
Gold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper was then die-cut and embossed.

The filigree pieces were then run through a Xyron Sticker Maker and applied to the surface of the bottle.
A few gemstones were added as well as the antique bottle stopper and now you have an altered bottle.
