Western Birthday Card by Anita Scroggins
Howdy y'all - Anita from The Flamingo Chronicals today to share a fun western themed birthday card with you.
We're collaborating with Joy Clair Stamps all the month of September.
For this project, I am using Giddy Up! Western theme stamp set
My older daughter is a horse girl through and through. We spent her entire teenage years at the barn with her horse. Even though we are not at the barn full time these days, she still loves all things western. This stamp set from Joy Clair was perfect for making a card for her.
I started by die cutting a sheet of the Glossy Sapphire Blue / Gold Foiled Paper with a star die. I thought this would be perfect with the western theme. I adhered a cream-colored cardstock to the back.
I used the Giddy Up! Western Theme Clear Stamp set from Joy Clair. I stamped the border image around the base layer of my card using black ink.
I used two more stamps from the same set for my sentiment on the card. I inked all the edges before adhering everything together and added some faux stitching around the edge of the sentiment.
Thank you for stopping by the blog today. I hope you enjoyed my project!
