by Jessa Plant
Hi again! It's Jessa from Sparkle Living Blog. I'm super excited to share this Winter Wonderland Shaker Card with you today because it means that it's nearly the winter season!
This simple shaker card is fun way to capture those chilly winters with some lovable snowmen!
Supplies
- Rinea Foiled Paper in Midnight/Gold Glossy, Arctic White/Gold Glossy, and Silver/Gold Glossy
- Joy Clair Designs Snowy Greetings Digital Stamps
- Foam tape
- Card stock
- Acetate or other clear craft plastic
- Tree Line Die
- Die Cutting Machine
- Embossing folder
- Snowflake sequins
- Adhesive
This shaker card features both Rinea Foiled Paper and digital stamps from Joy Clair Designs. Using A6 sized card stock as a base, I outlined the card with two layers of foam tape.
Then using my die cutting machine and an embossing folder, I embossed Rinea Midnight/Gold Glossy Solid Foiled Paper for the background and then trimmed it to fit on the card, between the foam tape border. I also embossed some strips of Rinea Silver/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper with the same embossing folder to create the border that covers the foam tape.
Die cut two tree lines for the bottom border, both in the Rinea Silver/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and in the Arctic White/Gold Glossy.
Print out your digital stamps and fussy cut the three snowmen image. Color, emboss and make them beautiful. Adhere them to the embossed background. Add some snowflake sequins or other shaker card fillers on to the card.
Cut a piece of clear craft plastic to fit over the card. Affix it by peeling off the backing, ensuring that its affixed on all sides.
With the embossed strips, affix them to the top and both sides of the card, so that the foam tape is not visible through the plastic. Layer the die cut tree line at the bottom of the card.
Add sentiments or more sequins on top of the trees. Enjoy the fun Winter Wonderland Shaker Card!
